The notice period on MocoSpace is 1 day. Take note: You can't access the premium offers without providing your credit card information first, which seemed sketchy. Additionally, they suggest that it would be best to pay through your credit card and nowhere else (e.g. your iTunes/Google Play account). In their fine print, Mocospace allows themselves to charge you without needing additional notice or consent. Although a lot of dating websites renew subscriptions automatically, the wording in this is especially suspicious. How to cancel your MocoSpace subscription →What MocoSpace really costs in Australia

MocoSpace offers two main paid options:
- VIP memberships
- Moco Gold, also called Gold Coins
VIP is a subscription for extra account features. Moco Gold is a virtual currency used for selected paid extras, such as gifts, livestream interactions, stickers, reactions, profile boosts and in-game purchases.
Before buying VIP or Moco Gold, check the current renewal rules, cancellation deadline, refund policy and Gold Coin terms. Rules can vary by purchase type, platform and billing method. If you only want temporary access, check your subscription settings before renewal.
MocoSpace Free vs. Paid: What Can You Actually Do Without Paying?
The free version already covers many everyday social features.
With a free account, you can:
For casual users, these features may be enough.
VIP membership focuses less on unlocking communication and more on improving convenience and visibility.
VIP benefits may include:
Do You Need MocoSpace VIP?
VIP is most useful if you use MocoSpace often.
If you spend a lot of time in chat rooms, livestreams or social discovery features, VIP may improve your experience through more visibility, fewer ads or extra account tools.
If free messaging, browsing and community features already meet your needs, you may not need to upgrade.
How to Know You Don’t Need MocoSpace Paid Features
You may not need MocoSpace VIP right away.
You can probably stick with the free version if:
- You are already getting replies - If people respond to your messages, extra visibility may not matter much.
- You mainly use chat rooms - If chat room access is included in the free version, VIP may not be necessary for basic conversations.
- Ads do not bother you - If ad reduction is one of the VIP benefits, decide whether that alone is worth the monthly cost.
- You rarely use livestream gifts - If you watch livestreams but seldom send gifts or paid reactions, there's little reason to buy large amounts of Moco Gold.
- You are looking for casual social interaction - The free version already lets you meet new people, browse profiles, chat, and join community activities without needing a MocoSpace VIP membership or Moco Gold Coins.
Tip: Try the free version for a few weeks first. If ads, profile visibility, profile views, or missing premium features do not become issues, upgrading may not provide enough extra value.
Tips for Avoiding Unnecessary Costs at MocoSpace
If you choose to use paid features, these habits can help you avoid paying for extras you rarely use and keep your overall MocoSpace cost lower.
- Start with free features first - Test the platform with a free account before buying VIP, Gold Coins, or other paid upgrades.
- Buy MocoSpace Coins only when needed - Avoid large Moco Gold packages unless you regularly use livestream gifts, virtual gifts, stickers, reactions, or other in-app purchases.
- Skip VIP if visibility is not an issue - If people already respond to your messages, VIP may not add enough value through profile boosts, ad removal, or extra exposure.
- Monitor renewal dates - If your MocoSpace subscription renews automatically, set a reminder before the next billing cycle and check the cancellation terms.
- Focus on MocoSpace features you actually use - Pay only for upgrades that clearly improve your chat rooms, profiles, livestream, games, or social discovery experience.
Conclusion
MocoSpace gives free users access to many core free features. You can browse profiles, send messages, join chat rooms, watch livestreams, play online games, and participate in community activities without paying.
MocoSpace VIP and Moco Gold mainly add convenience, visibility, and entertainment extras. If the free version already helps you connect with people, you may not need to upgrade. Paid options make more sense if you use the platform often, care about profile exposure, or regularly spend time on livestream and gifting features.
Before paying, compare the current MocoSpace prices, possible fees, renewal rules, refund terms, and total cost based on how you actually use the site.
