Although signing up to Snack is easy, it is unique because, unlike most dating apps, this one does not require an email address. Instead, you need your phone number or your Apple ID. Through this, the user is secure and fake accounts can be avoided. 

You do not need to add your basic information during signup. You will provide this after you create your account. Once done with the registration, you will now provide your name, age, location, and gender. It is required to upload at least one photo and one video.

Contacting users in Snack is different. In your feed, you will see different videos of your potential dates. You can comment and like any video. However, you can only communicate privately if the person will also like your video. You will be considered a match if you like each other's videos.

This enables a level of casual flirting while giving people a layer of protection.

In Snack, you will not be swiping through different profiles. But you will see a running feed. However, one's profile also contains other information about the user like name, age, location, and gender. You can also see one's distance from your area. Only one photo is required for your profile picture. The rest are videos. 

The app looks like TikTok which only features videos that show your interests, attitude, and the real you. Snack app aims to show how authentic a person is. This way, users are certain that they will be talking to a real person and not just a bot, fantasy profile, or fake account. Because of the video platform, it is also less likely to have catfish users who assume a false identity or personality on the internet.
