Bristlr's registration process is very simple. You can even finish it in a few minutes. It doesn't require much information, but you should have at least an email address or a Facebook account to get in. All members should be at least 18 years old to join. 

At the top of the page, you should upload a profile photo. This is for free. They don't have any special guidelines on photo uploading, but it is better if you show your face if you aim to get more interactions.

You can completely sign up on one whole page. You have to give some basic information such as your gender, who you are looking for, your location using your zip code, and date of birth. Tick the small box at the bottom of the page if you are a bearded man. You cannot leave the page to complete registration unless agree to the site's Terms and Conditions and Privacy Policies.

Right after registration, you will be redirected to the search results page based on your location and preference. The settings can be adjusted anytime. The search filters include gender, age, distance from your location, and whether or not the member has a beard. You can also tick the box if you prefer to put new people at the top of the list, and only the people who like you on the results. A more advanced option of typing a word which should be on the member's profile.

You can contact other members for free as long as you mutually like each other. To be able to message more members, you can like as many profiles as you like to give you higher chances of getting a match. However, you can always click on the skip (x button) opposite the like (heart icon).

Lastly, you can rate the beards of other members using a five-start point system. Of course, the lower number of stars, the lower the rating is. You can also click "not a beard" or "skip a beard" if you want to.

You cannot find much information on a Bristlr member profile. It's a good thing that matched members can communicate for free. Nonetheless, you can still rely on some important information on the profiles of your prospect date. 

First, of course, is the username and a big photo on the left. Next are the age, location/address, and distance from your location, a short bio write-up about yourself, about the members that you would like to meet, and if you have hope of meeting up in person. Editing a profile can be done anytime.

The online status of another member is also visible to the others.

The membership package of Bristlr only differs from the length of the subscription in months. You can choose from 6-month, 3-month, or 1-month packages. All the packages will give you access to viewing who liked or viewed your profile. You can pay for membership using your credit or debit card. For apps, you can charge it to your app store account.

The site claims that its payment method is secured by Stripe, which is classified as one of the safest payment processing platforms.

All card charges and billings will be under the name "Bristlr."
