The signup process for Charm Date will only take at most five minutes to complete. The following are the personal information you have to provide during the signup process:

• valid email 
• date of birth
• name
• location

After successfully verifying your email, you need to answer a few questions about your ideal match. You have to fill out fields that ask you about your preferred age, hobbies, educational attainment, and many more. You also have to specify if you are okay to meet women who already have children. 

This information will help you filter the match suggestions that are given by the site. When these filters are activated, you are browsing through the 'Smart Matches' that are suggested by the site.

CharmDate has all the messaging and contacting features you can ever think of. From basic emails to live chats, from simple call services to video chats, the site has it all for you. 

It may have one of the most communication options available for a dating site, but these features are not available for free. To communicate with people you find interesting, you must have a lot of Qpid credits. Most of the features are paid according to how long and how often you are using them. The live chat, for example, will cost you 0.5 credits for five minutes, plus additional charges for using emojis, and viewing and sending photos.

You can reach out to your matches through EMF mail, Admirer mail, Live Chat, CamShare, VideoShow, and Call Service. The call service has three different types: scheduled calls, instant calls, and the call me authorisation.

 Unlocking any of the features is done for each member and for each time you use it. If you really think of it, you will spend thousands of Qpid credits just to keep in touch with your matches. 

The site will also give you a contact list which contains the top 100 people you have contacted in 180 days. After 180 days of inactivity, your list will be deleted.

CharmDate allows you to send virtual gifts to people you like which, of course, costs credits. It also has a feature where you can select and send actual flowers or actual gifts to your matches. You can do this by purchasing a gift or bouquet on the site's "Gifts and Flowers" section. The site will then take care of buying the actual item, and delivering them to the recipients.  

CharmDate's profile information is not very detailed, but it has enough information for you to have a glimpse of what your matches are like. What the profile section contains is your most important information like your name, birth date, gender, nationality, and relationship status. It will also have some details about your appearance and hobbies but it won't be as detailed as what other sites have.

The basic information that you have provided upon signing up cannot be edited. However, you can edit the ones you provided after signing up. These are the fields with the information about your height, weight, education, hobbies, number of children, and kind of relationship you are looking for.

The profile section has an "About Me" field where you can write a little something about yourself. One cool thing about the "About Me" section is that you can choose to select tags that best describe yourself. After selecting the tags, CharmDate will generate a paragraph according to the tags you have chosen. You can use that auto-written paragraph for your about me section. Once you complete your profile, you will be awarded points which you can then trade in for credits. 

The profile information is inter-linked between all the sites run by the Qpid Network. Any changes you apply for one site will reflect on the other sites as well. Despite the site's efforts to filter out suspicious profiles, there are still reports of fake accounts that potentially hinder the members' dating experiences.
