THIS IS THE WORST SITE EVER!!! IT IS FULL OF SCAMMERS AND FAKE PROFILES. IT IS ALMOST IMPOSSIBLE TO CLOSE TYOUR ACCOUNT ONCE IT IS SET UP. THERE IS NO PHONE HELP AND ONLY A CHOICE TO HIDE YOUR ACCOUNT .....WHICH MAKE IT WORSE BECAUSE THEN THERE ARE SOME RANDOMS SENDING YOUR PHONE NUMBER TO COMPLETE STRANGERS BEWARE

POF is renowned for having lots of fake profiles. There seems to be no real profile checking, so anyone can be anything on POF. There are lots of catfish - I'd say about one third of the profiles are fake - both male and female. It is a pretty "free-for-all" dating site - no real assurances and the user is left to block fake scammers - so they just keep going. POF needs to introduce some effective ID checks to prevent scammers from running this site.

POF is a POS! Scam site unfortunately everyone. I was locked out of my account 3 weeks into a 1 month membership. I couldn't log back in and the 'forgot password' feature sent me a link for a different account! So I removed my payment method from googlepay to avoid getting hit with a membership fee renewal at the end of 1 month. But guess what - they still stole the money from my account. I now need to close the account entirely because Plenty Of Fish is a Piece of Sh**!

This company automatically renewed my membership after I had cancelled my subscription and refuse to refund the money in full. Don't ever give them any payment information, including paypal as they will continue to charge you even if you cancel.
